The course covers modern ballroom dance - Rumba, Samba, Cha-cha, paso doble, and Jive . It will be taught in an academic way, following the systematic specifications. Starting from the very beginning(from quasi-bronze, copper, silver., Gold until the most advanced), step by step, the students will learn the basic skills in theory, combined with sufficient practice. The teacher will organize regular lecturing balls to assess student progress. By improving choreography, boosting self confidence and developing inner peace, while getting involved in large-scale dance performances, the students will showcase their beautiful lives.


陈氏太极拳初级班 (Chen-Style Tai Chi - Beginner) $370

教学目的:掌握陈氏太极拳基本功和入门套路,学习陈氏太极拳的基本运动特点。
教学内容:陈氏太极拳基本缠丝功八式;起步六式;入门十二式

课程方向:
一、从基本缠丝功入手,适应周身螺旋缠丝,一动无有不动的运动特点。
二、然后学习起步六式,体会缠绕折叠,快慢相间的行拳节奏。
三、扩展到入门十二式,学习蓄柔成刚,柔化刚发的太极发劲。

Duration: 24 Weeks. The instructor will confirm the schedule once the semester starts.
Objective: Learn the foundational exercises and beginner forms of Chen-style Tai Chi. Master the essential movement characteristics of the style.
Curriculum: 8-movement spiral force exercises; 6-movement compact form; 12-movement beginner form.

Overview:
Starting from the 8-movement spiral force exercises, students will first learn the whole-body coiling and spiraling motions that characterize Chen Style Tai Chi. Then, the students will learn a 6-movement compact form that contains Chen Style Tai Chi's typical winding movements and varying tempos. The compact form will be further expanded into a 12-movement beginner form. The students will learn to use relaxation and softness to build inner energy and release explosive power.


陈氏太极拳中级班 (Chen-Style Tai Chi - Intermediate) $380

教学目的:掌握陈氏太极拳核心套路,展现气势恢宏的演练风格。
教学内容:陈氏太极拳核心二十四式

课程方向:
一、在初级班入门十二式的基础上,学习二十四式核心套路。
二、领会七分柔化,三分刚发,刚柔相济的套路编排,学会调整呼吸,合理分配体力。
三、形成如长江大河奔流不息,气势恢宏的风格,一气呵成,达到最佳健身、强身效果。

Objective: Master the 24-movement core form and its magnificent performance style
Curriculum: the 24-movement core form of Chen Style Tai Chi

Overview:
Students who have mastered the 12-movement beginner form will now move on to learn the 24-movement core form. They will learn the carefully choreographed movements that alternate between 70% gentle coiling actions and 30% explosive power release. They will also learn how to adjust their breathing and allocate physical energy wisely to support the completion of the entire form. Eventually, the students will develop a dynamic and magnificent Tai Chi performance style that moves like great rivers and crushes like ocean waves. They will be able to complete the whole sequence without a pause, achieving maximum workout and health benefits.


陈氏太极拳中高级班 (Chen-Style Tai Chi - Interm. to Adv.) $390

教学目的:学习陈氏太极拳四十八式,掌握传统一路的所有基本动作
教学内容:陈氏太极拳精练四十八式

课程方向:
一、在复习巩固中级班核心二十四式的基础上,扩展到精炼四十八式。
二、包含传统陈式一路83式套路的所有基本拳式,去掉重复动作,结构精炼。
三、在增加运动量的同时学习丰富多变的步法和旋转身法,提高全身协调能力和耐力。

Objective: Learn the 48-movement form. Master all foundational movements in the traditional Form 1
Curriculum: The 48-Movement Advanced Form of Chen Style Tai Chi

Overview:
Students will first review and refine the 24-movement core form and then expand their repertoire to include the 48-movement advanced form. This form includes all the foundational movements in the traditional 83-movement Chen Style Tai Chi Form 1, but it removes all the duplicates to streamline the form structure. Under increased exercise load, students will learn comprehensive footwork and spin movements, improving whole-body coordination and endurance.


咏春拳和防身班 (Wing Chun and Self Defense) $550

教学目的:传授咏春拳和防身擒拿技术,提高学生的自卫能力。
教学内容:咏春拳套路、黐手、模拟攻防对练、常用擒拿术。

课程方向:
一、讲解咏春拳的拳理、技法、作战原则,培养扬长避短、以弱胜强的自卫能力。
二、教授咏春拳套路,指导黐手练习,培养敏锐的感知和反应能力,形成本能的自卫动作。
三、针对常见格斗场景进行组合动作训练,讲解咏春封手技术,力求快速制敌。
四、根据每个学生的水平选配搭档,度身定制对练项目,新老学生按个人进度各自提高。
五、学习进度顺利的前提下,将加授常用自卫擒拿手法,重点教授小关节擒拿技,以弱胜强。

Objective: Teach the martial arts system of Wing Chun and joint lock techniques to improve self-defense skills.
Curriculum: Wing Chun forms, sticky hand exercises, simulated combat drills, and common joint lock techniques.

Overview:
1. Teach the theory, principles, and combat techniques of Wing Chun system. Train students to offset their weaknesses and play to their strengths in self-defense, so they can strike down stronger attackers.
2. Teach Wing Chun system forms. Use sticky hand exercises to improve combat sensitivity and develop automatic self-defense responses.
3. Train combo fighting sequences for common scenarios. Teach Wing Chun trapping and controlling techniques to finish the fight quickly and decisively.
4. Pair students based on their level of skills and customize their partner drills, allowing both new and returning students to master the system at their own pace.
5. When the class makes good learning progress, common joint lock techniques will be added to curriculum. The focus will be on small joint manipulation techniques that are easy for weaker person to gain leverage over stronger attackers.


Yoga 初级课(Beginner Class - Hatha Yoga) $470

Stress in modern life, prolonged sitting, using computers and mobile phones with the head down, and lack of physical activity are usually causing the body to become stiff, deepen the sense of fatigue, and even cause pain in the shoulder, neck, waist, and back spine. This class is a set of dynamic yoga that will lead you into deep respiration. Practicing this yoga set at the physical level will make you sweat, detoxify, and activate the body cells; at the spiritual level, it will help students achieve a quiet mind and peace of mind by focusing on breathing and exercising. There is no particular age limit for this course, and parents are welcome to register for their parents.

This program can enhance fitness, muscle toning, eye-hand coordination, focusability, flexibility, and confidence. This class is suited for students who have already taken Lulu Zumba before.
